The Nike Dunk Low SB ‘Be True’ celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community with color-popped accents and a mixed-material build. The upper combines a white mesh base with a leather forefoot overlay in a vivid canary yellow hue. A gradient blend of lilac and pink is applied to the leather heel overlay, marked with custom graphics created by Xavier Schipani, an Austin-based artist who identifies as a trans man. Asymmetrical Swooshes in pink and blue adorn each side panel, while woven tongue tags display mismatched Nike SB and Be True branding. Inside the shoe, the insole features a chain link graphic symbolizing the bonds that connect the global trans community.
